Presidential Partnership Scholarship

This is a competitive scholarship award for entering transfer students. To be reviewed for this scholarship, the student must be nominated by their Mississippi community/junior college president. Based on these recommendations and the criteria listed below, the Mississippi State University Scholarship Committee will select one student from each Mississippi community/junior college.

Covers the cost of tuition for up to 5 semesters

Award Information

The amount of this award will be capped at the regular 12-16 hour tuition rate. No adjustments will be made for overload tuition charges.

Renewable for up to 5 semesters provided student maintains a minimum overall college GPA of 3.0 and continuous full-time enrollment (12 credit hours per semester at Mississippi State University).

May not be combined with the Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship, Transfer Academic Scholarship, Phi Theta Kappa President Scholarship, or Phi Theta Kappa Officer Scholarship.

Award Criteria

  • Must be a Mississippi resident
  • Must be transferring to MSU from a Mississippi community/junior college
  • Must be a member of Phi Theta Kappa
  • Must be enrolled full-time (12 credit hours per semester) at the Starkville Campus
  • Must enroll in the FYE-CC Presidential Scholars course

Federal financial aid, state financial aid, and/or scholarship recipients may not receive funds in excess of cost of attendance. The amount of your scholarships may be adjusted or canceled if you receive funds in excess of cost of attendance, https://www.sfa.msstate.edu/cost.
