Award Information
Awarded to a select number of Mississippi residents who are entering freshmen. Renewable for up to 8 semesters provided student maintains an overall college GPA of 3.0 and continuous full-time enrollment (12 credit hours per semester at Mississippi State University).
The National Recognition Scholarship Package may not be combined with the Freshman Academic Scholarship Package, National Merit Semi-Finalist Scholarship Package, National Merit Finalist Scholarship Package, or the Presidential Endowed Scholarship Package.
Award Criteria
- Must be a Mississippi resident
- Must be an entering first-time freshman
- Must have a 9th-11th grade GPA of 3.0+
- Must submit the General Scholarship Application
- Must submit the College Board National Recognition Program Scholarship Application in the scholarship portal
- Students must upload a scanned copy or image of their certificate that they received from the College Board as part of the College Board National Recognition Program Scholarship Application
