Mississippi State University takes a census immediately after the end of each semester’s add/drop period. This is known as the Pell Freeze Date. Your enrollment at the time of the census determines the amount of Pell Grant you are eligible to receive for the semester.
If your FAFSA is received or finalized after the census date, your awards will be based on your enrollment at the time of review.
