All deadlines are at 12:00 midnight unless otherwise stated.
All dates and deadlines are subject to change.
Deadline for account payment in full or enrollment in a payment plan. Class schedules subject to cancellation without full payment or enrolled in a payment plan.
Classes begin
First day to work spring Federal Work Study
Last day to drop a course without a grade (5th class day) 11:59 p.m.
Last day to register or add a course (6th class day) 5:00 p.m.
Entering transfer and current student General Scholarship Application priority deadline
Last day to drop a class with a "W" grade (36th class day) 5:00 p.m. Note that tuition charges will still apply.
HELP Grant application deadline.
Priority deadline for completing the 2027-2028 FAFSA
Pre-registration period for the summer and fall semesters
Last day to withdraw from the University (ten days of class remaining)
Classes end
Last day to accept a fall 2026/spring 2027 or spring 2027 only Direct Loan

* Drop – If you are choosing to drop one or more classes from a specific *term while still staying enrolled in at least one course. Dropping a course will result in a grade of “W” and tuition plus addition fees will be charged.
* Withdrawal – If you are enrolled in a course/courses as of the first day of the *term and you decide not to attend, you are withdrawing from the term. A withdrawal will result in a grade of “W” and a percentage, if not all, tuition will be owed depending on the effective withdrawal date.
* Term – Please be aware there are several parts of term for the summer. Maymester, 1st 5 week, 2nd 5 week and the 10 week term are each considered individual terms.
** Census Date (Pell Freeze) – To be paid a Federal Pell Grant, a student must be enrolled in classes at the end of the add/drop period of each semester. A census will be taken immediately following the end of each add/drop period. The student’s enrolled hours as verified by that census will determine the payment amount. Failure to be enrolled at the census will exclude a student from Federal Pell Grant eligibility for that term, per federal regulations.
