The Student Employment Office is instrumental in helping students locate jobs, however, the office does not place students in jobs. Students seeking jobs should check the Job Vacancy Board in the lobby of Garner Hall near the entrance of the Department of Financial Aid and Scholarships or they can go on-line to the Career Services Center at www.career.msstate.edu. Students may also contact university departments of their choosing about job openings. Students with FWS awards are expected to report to their employing department during the first two days of the semester. Federal Work-Study jobs may be located on campus or may be off campus in community service work.
